Our story began in 1993, when John & Gloria Cottrell founded a landscape company just outside small-town Eureka, IL. Fast forward ten years, they purchased land nearby and started Stoneleaf Nursery as a way to supplement plants for their landscape business. The seeds planted at Stoneleaf Nursery continued to grow, both literally and figuratively, and with the growth came a hard decision to make. In 2019 the Cottrell’s sold their landscape business to focus solely on growing the nursery. Today, they run the daily operations along with their three sons – Samuel, Eli, and Silas.

Stoneleaf Nursery started small, and as it grew, the need for efficient equipment became greater. Several years in we stumbled upon ProLine Grabbers attachments, and we were impressed! ProLine Grabbers allowed us to take our efficiency to an entirely new level. We used their products every single day for many different jobs. And despite our aggressive daily use, they held up incredibly well – which speaks to its high quality.

When the former owner/inventor of ProLine Equipment presented us with the opportunity to purchase the business as he looked to retirement, we were all in. We were already using their products and were incredibly passionate about them. In 2025, we made it official. We can’t wait to share this incredible line of ProLine Grabber equipment with you!
